Nothing. It's rich powerful people with control over young beautiful people. Once you're powerful enough the opportunity to abuse that power presents itself and some people take it. That's human nature not working in Hollywood.

Well the sexual predators have run the industry for decades, and they recruit young child actors that have parents that will let them rape them, then those kids grow up fricked up. It's a never ending cycle.

To act like you would give up your career in an instant and turn some of the most powerful and richest people in the world completely against you is hilarious.
Elijah Wood comes to mind. His career disappeared after he spoke out.

If it really is that bad.. That is fricked up. It seems like the actors/actresses would have more power in terms of public opinion and if a lot of them would get together and speak out at once..
Of course, I don't know the chain of command in hollywood. Are these the people who decide whether studios can make a movie or not?

My point is the same people who are relentlessly advocating for social causes that concern victims rights are the same ones who know full well who the perpetrators are in Hollywood. It's hard for people to take you seriously if you're looking like a hypocrite.
I don't expect them to speak out against everyone, but there are probably many Hollywood A list types who knew what Weinstein was up to, and chose to work with him anyway.

Corey Feldman talked extensively about Corey Haim's abuse and it was buried. The same thing with Todd Bridges. These victims become addicts after the abuse and Hollywood portrays them and their addictions negatively to further diminish any credibility they once may have had. Everybody jokes about how f'ed up child stars are. I think we're about to see why.

Culkin stated that he slept in Michael Jackson's bed but was never molested. When you look at his tumultuous history with his family, his drug abuse and mental instability, I'd say there is a distinct possibility he was.

I guess this really happened but it's a little hard to believe since Terry is a huge dude who doesn't look receptive to gay stuff.
