I believe when the NY bombing was first reported, Don Lemon told a guest that calling it "terrorism" was simply "parsing words"

Most of these people are very susceptible to manipulation by others. They tend to not be able to think for themselves, are followers and are trying to find something larger than themselves to belong to in order to feel like they matter in the world. These types of personalities are the most vulnerable to religious, political, social manipulation. It's no different than those who are more susceptible to hypnosis. Some personality types are more malleable than others. These people have no concrete sense of who they are or what their core values are.
