It's a secret that Feb has tolerable weather but don't tell anyone.

If you would wait until May thru September it is a much better place to visit.
It's a beautiful city with tons of outdoor stuff to do all around.

You won't find many oversized trucks or confederate flags. So, in essence, it's full of commie liberals

Damn, what's with you people?
Great city, there are some comprehensive threads about it somewhere on TD. Put together when LSU played there

Weather not so bad.
Food great.
Some leisure time and nightlife stuff is pretty interesting.
People treat D v R like religion instead of politics. No open minds, no critical thinking. It's pretty much all "uber liberal" and no alternative.
Lack of open dialog and critical thinking means city is a fail. Just makes conversation impossible and the people unbearable.

It's going to be very cold. There are lots of craft breweries there with good beer. It's a neat place.

Seattle sucks. I go there about 2 times per month because my major customer is there. Terrible traffic 3 lane highways with one being an HOV lane. Takes 2+ hours to get anywhere at any time of day.
Pike Place market is nice and the space needle and taking a ferry across puget sound is interesting, but on the whole the town itself is meh. And yes full of old hippy libtard treehuggers and old lesbians.

Go to Victoria if you have time

SIL lives up there. She loves it.
Lots to do. Outdoors activities are fantastic. Clean. Statistically it rains much more in south LA than in Seattle, so that's mostly rumor. Weather is much more pleasant.

On the beer side, definitely try a Pyramid Hefeweizen and also the Mannys pale ale. both great.
