Johns Island is starting to gentrify too, lot of new construction and they are finally getting ready to widen Maybank Hwy.
Rich folks will have a better view and easier time getting to Kiawah and Seabrook now.

I went t Myrtle Beach a few years ago for the first time and thought it would be a nice place.
It was like South Carolina wanted to marry all the trashiness of Virginia Beach with the strip malls of Destin.

People are moving here in droves for a reason. It's a beautiful state oozing with history and southern culture and has some of the friendliest people in America.

Forget widening Maybank, they are extending 526. It will make my drive to my beach house that much easier.
