This is just another example of how we will NEVER be able to stop these mass killings.. Was he stopped, yes, but if not for the tip, he wouldve carried this out. No matter what the government tries to ban, if you are dead set on killing people, you will find a way.

Yes, this kids plan sounds eerily similar to what the kids at Columbine attempted to carry out. Fortunately someone lucked into stopping him before he could attempt this.

Somebody should come on MSNBC, CNN, FOX NEWS, etc... And say "look, there's nothing wrong with profiling your son. If you're giving your teenager a shite ton of $ because you have a hunch he's fricked in the head and you're trying to buy his sanity, it may not be working. What has changed in the last 20 years to make these kids so damn evil?
I'm not one to jump on the extremist bandwagon but I wonder, is it the ultra voilent video games? The ultra violent messages in rap songs? Steriods in the chicken?
I grew up in the 80's and I don't think any of us would have ever dreamed of something like this. Maybe there were fricked up kids back then, but they had as much access to guns then as kids do now, probably more.
I'm just baffled by what could drive someone to want to murder their family and a bunch of elementary school kids. Mental illness, evil heart, raging hormones, I just don't know.....

I don't think much has changed, but the manual was written with the first mass school shooting. After that, coupled with the media coverage of the event and its aftermath. Any kid with the crazies just has to google it, and he's got a roadmap on how to do it.
