Smoking weed IS fun...but maybe not as fun when it isn't illegal anymore

I have smoked legally for over 10 years now, it is just as fun!

Has anything negative happened from those states legalizing? Yet we still get assholes acting like it's going to destroy the country.

Those damn public schools got millions of dollars to improve themselves. fricking tragedy.

It's not "cool" to smoke weed now that there are no repercussions for doing so. I've always said that the only people who think drinking until you're blackout drunk or smoking weed are fun are those under the age of 25.

Wow, this is wrong on both accounts.

I am older than that and love tying one on until I'm belligerent with some friends at a wedding or football game.

Conversely, I love smoking for other reasons, none of which are the feeling of being "really crazy high". It relaxes me, eases stress, and helps me sleep. Plus it makes my wife's cooking much better

I would think that other harder drug use among teens would also fall. The gateway drug excuse never made much sense to me. Marijuana is not the gateway the drug dealer is the gateway. Most teens dont start off smoking crack. They gain access to a dealer and start off on marijuana then move on to try harder drugs. If the black market for marijuana is closed it seems imo that this may stem the use of harder drugs. I'm sure others will disagree.

This is fact. I have lived it.

DARE people and marijuana prohibitionists haven't. They have no clue what they are talking about because they have never experienced that side of life. They are squares that were brainwashed that these things are evil. Its fricking sad.

From what I've seen coke is becoming way more common

Ebbs and flows. Right now the Ritalin generation is becoming the age to do cocaine. In 20 years it will fade away.

Same with heroin. Its big right now because pain killers, most notably Oxycontin, have been over-prescribed. This is slowing down, and Oxy isn't even made anymore, so in 10 years I think the heroin will slow down again.
