How bad was it there vs the March flood?

Tommy's, Blackened Brew, and Red White and Brew were open last I checked

I can confirm that Blackened Brew is open

From my perspective, March was worse. I didn't get water or even close either time.
I do think from the pictures and everything shown that this will be worse overall and can get even worse as the water drains south. Everything above 190 was flooding and all that water has to go somewhere. I guess we will see tonight and in the morning.

Just about every record that the March flood set was broken today.

March was much worse to this point
I'm just south of the airport
been fine the whole time
in March everything went under water around here

The in laws are just south of the airport as well along selsers creek. There house is raised, but theyve been under water since this started. No water in the house, but they definitely aren't running to cash and dash anytime soon.

I was wondering about my old neighbors in Whitmar Acres and Woodbridge north of SLU
Posted on 8/13/16 at 9:01 pm to moffettduck
Woodbridge and north parts of Witmar went under again.

From my friend in Robert, this morning:

Over west near the LP line, today was definitely worse. My street didn't even flood in March. I left today and got a pic from my neighbor and water was about a foot from my door. I got lucky.
My brother lives in the subdivision before mine. He didn't get so lucky. Got water in every room of his house.

One of my buddies still at selu works at the blackened brew. He was working earlier tonight. From what I hear, Southeastern and the areas around school aren't as bad as march

where?
I'm on selsers too on south Coburn loop...water came up as usual on Friday then has been falling all day. Back in March old Covington went under but we've had none of that this time

South side of 12. Behind the hospital.

In Springfield which is near the Tangipahoa/Livingston line. At least for this area it's way worse than march. My house is 20 years old and has never come close to flooding... currently up to 6 inches. The town itself is completely under water.

There are a lot of places that didn't flood in '83, or in March, that got water this time as well as those that flooded in March.
So, in that sense this is much much worse. This will be a more costly flood.

I didn't get water in March 2ft so far in Ponchatoula
Posted on 8/13/16 at 9:42 pm to PrideofTheSEC
Buddy from Ponchy is under. He said his family from the north end all lost their homes. River levels were much higher now compared to March.

East or west side of ponchatoula?
Posted on 8/13/16 at 9:51 pm to USEyourCURDS
Any word on what 22 looks like between Ponchatoula and Springfield?
