Just a wild guess that Tallahassee PD would find some way to make this

spit on him
known.

By whose account? The cop who is on administrative leave? I wouldn't be skeptical of a self-serving statement at all.

I usually give the cops the benefit of the doubt as these stories about the "innocent" victim are usually bull shite. But after seeing that video, the cop's action seems pretty indefensible. No way he should have tased her unless she had a weapon.

In literally every police abuse thread like this, the conservative white posters who've never had a bad experience with the police rush to defend the five-ohs.

And then the video is posted and they wind up backtracking.

At what point do you naive dudes stop automatically white knighting for the cops?

nobodys. I'm just asking a question. What if it becomes known? Justified with the tasing?

Well I don't habitually break the law or interfere with police while they're working, so there's that.

Nope, majority of videos/facts end up showing the cops actions were reasonable under the circumstances in 99% of arrests.

This one didn't in my opinion.

I am fairly confident that she was backing towards him in an aggressive manner.

I'm white too but I have some kids that I went to high school with in Metairie who turned out to be cops and the stories that they told me while thinking that I was on "their side" and get a kick out of….

I wish I could go back in time and rat them out but I was probably in my early 20's and that was before this police backlash/youtube vids, etc.

sam montgomery, the gas station shooting, the st. paul mall situation… and there were at least 2 others in addition to these on the poli board in the past month.

So all cops are bad because of your power abusing friends?

Just like in any other profession, there are good employees and bad ones.

I didn't say that. But I'm saying that now citizens know how to video encounters and that's why we're hearing/seeing this at least once a week.

At some point the cops will stop abusing - not because they care or are "good cops", but because even their GED dumbasses will realize that abuse now equals getting fired.
