Flooding is no issure whatsoever. Traffic can be a pain, but for me, is more than offset by the neighborhood experience. I live 1.5 miles from the only entrance into the subdivision. My kids have been able to ride bikes and other such activities without any safety concerns. If your kids are going to go to high school at St. Aloysius, then this is a convenient neighborhood.

Skip Bertman's house was in Riverbend before it burned down a few years ago. I don't know if he rebuilt there or moved somewhere else.

Only small portion caught on fire. Mainly his memorabilia room off the house. He is still there. Rides bike around regularly.

Lots of LSU coaches used to live there. Bill Arnsparger and Bob Broadhead did.
