Tad Cummins, 50, fled with Elizabeth from their small town of Culleoka, Tennessee, on March 13. They disappeared a few weeks after a student reported seeing Cummins and Elizabeth kissing in a classroom.
Cummins faces charges of sexual contact with a minor and aggravated kidnapping, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said last month. He was added to the state's most wanted list.

Awesome. As much as I tried to avoid this line of thinking, I did not have high hopes that they would find her alive in well. Glad she is safe and he was caught.

I assumed this would either end up like this, or with them both killing themselves (or murder suicide).
Obviously there is something wrong with this dude, but he never seemed like the random kidnap and murder type. More the "somehow pathetically thinks he found love with a 15 year old" type.

Didn't he have kids and a wife? Even grandkids? I can't remember, they've been on the road for like two months it seems like.

Something like that. And she (I think) had been abused by her family.
It's a weird story, because the media and police understandably want to point out that this dude is preying on her and that this isn't an "even" relationship. Which is true. But I won't be surprised if we learn this guy had always been a pretty nice person, who started looking out for this girl, and then things went totally off the rails.
