Always sad. My stepdad is retired Air Force. My mom and him live in Columbus now where I am from.

Yea I live in Caledonia around many CAFB people . Sad story for sure. Was wanting to know why they weren’t able to eject

This may be a stupid question , but would any Marine Corps pilots be training there? A friend of mine has a kid that is somewhere in N. MS at a flight school.

Both my parents taught at Caledonia - mom for 25 years at CES under ole Roger Hill.

Marines and Navy train at Vance AFB in Oklahoma when on exchange with the USAF. Your friend's kid is most likely training at NAS Meridian. Highly unlikely he/she would be flying a Columbus based T-38.

Guarantee I know you or your family . I have been a teacher for 24 years at a school in the county . Both my kids graduated from CHS

Yeah, they changed names when I was in 1st grade....so 1994ish. Fr. Hurley was the key person in the name change to have it named after the church.

Small world . Yes it is Annunciation . Some good people here but Columbus still sucks arse... getting worse every year
