Switching from 55 inch tires to 60 inch tires

was wondering if this would would make my truck sit up a little higher and how much higher if it does...

Are they true 60'story or just marketed? My 55s are true to size. Some 60's just say that but the sidewalls give and they settle to about 57"

Not worth the BS for purchasing that much kevlar.

What is the size of your current tire and what size are you going to? Unless you are in a monster truck, you don't have a 55 inch tire. You have a 55 series tire which dictates how much the aspect of the sidewall to the width of the tire.

I assume you're talking about aspect ration. My guess is you're talking about switching from a 275/55 20 to a 275/60 20. The 275/60 20 will be an inch taller than the factory tire.

No it won't. The second number is the aspect ratio of the first number. In that case the 60 is the percentage wide as 275. 60% of 275mm is not an inch bigger than 55% of 275mm.


Eta: it's about 1/2 inch
