just had a California Pizza Kitchen frozen pizza. the spinach & artichoke one. debating if i want to ride my bike to the parade.

Agreed. It was an excellent gift and surprise. And she has already offered to put it together for me. It's pretty simple though. It's not propane, it a knockoff of the Big Green Egg, and is a charcoal grill.

Is there a benefit to building the table, or just for looks? It came as just the grill on wheels, with the 2 folding side shelves.

I actually really like those kind because they work really well with various wood chips for seasoning.

And, you can slow cook at 200 for hours and hours, or get it super hot and seer steaks with it, to anything in between. That's what I like. I wanna try to make one of those pizzas on it. Never made a pizza on a grill, but hear they come out awesome.
