Boy, you are right. Everyone over 40 should just get a walker and check into assisted living. What are people that age thinking, going out and having dinner and drinks? They should be home minding their investments so their kids can get that money. frick them. Oh wait, I forget that they have every right to go enjoy themselves and to dare to go to a place with people their age! The nerve.

Nothing wrong with the older crowd having fun. Superior and Cadillac caters to the same crowd.
I do notice, though, that there is a group of single middle-aged people in BR who kinda all run in the same circles and they are full of trashy folks. My mom's childhood best friend is all caught up in that.. making Facebook invites for her "birthday bash" when she's almost 50 Stuff like that. My mom is in awe.. as a naive woman who has been married to my dad for almost 30 years.

Friend that used to work there said they stopped doing the $5 martinis "for an undetermined length of time".. until the trash stopped coming. Apparently it started attracting a less than desirable crowd.

Before I knew what kind of crowd hung out at Sullivan's, a friend invited me. It looked like a scene from some geriatric dating site. I saw a guy that looked like present day Rod Stewart but he was dressed like 80's Rod Stewart. I stayed 5 minutes then hauled out of there with the quickness.

I just don't get the entitled vibe of some mid-20's folks who act like someone over 40 has no business being out drinking after 7. I am not arguing that those folks should be hanging at Fred's (that is creepy) but the same thing could be said for a 20-something going to RingSide or Cadillac. But a bar is a bar. Pay for your drinks and STFU. It's not like you are mandated to talk to the skeezer be they older or younger.
