There's rumor that a riot may breakout at the Sugar Cane Festival in lieu of that kid that allegedly shot himself while handcuffed in the back of a cop car.

I don't know shite about Bogalusa, but I think you should stay home, bbq, drink beer, and play board games with friends.

In new Iberia now and the rumor is there will be riots this weekend over a cop killing someone. Riot or not, I'm not going.

If the Sugar Cane fest goes hard like the Shrimp and Petro fest in that area, then that one wins in a land slide.... You really really have to give me an awesome reason to even think about driving through Bog.

Just stay away from the tail end of the parade route and you'll be ok. Also stay away from Hopkins St.

Stay off of Ann and Hopkins skreet, you'll be OK.

Better yet, just don't go South of the train track.

This is the 3rd year for the Blues Fest in Bogalusa. Looking for great crowds again and some pretty good music. 2 day fest, Friday night and Saturday all day. Since the chemical plant left for Tuscalloser, the smell isn't there any longer. Try it, you may be pleasantly surprised!!!!

Never been the Sugar Cane Fest, but the music lineup at Bogalusa is solid, if you're a fan of blues... On the other hand, there's an even better lineup for this year's Crescent City Blues & BBQ Fest next month.

Knowing the amount of security that is already on stand by in new Iberia they wouldn't try

Why protest a suicide? Dumb.

Last year's Sugar Cane Festival had the police very busy.

I heard this week on the news that they are bringing hundreds of extra police and 4 SWAT TEAMS!

They went on to say.....tonight is FAMILY NIGHT!

Isn't that the dude who shot himself while handcuffed behind the back in the back of a police car? Seems reasonable.
