Does it really matter? The dick cop had other means to take him down without violating his rights by physically assaulting him.

Soft empty hand is considered, by all law enforcement agencies and our justice system, to be the least aggressive of all physical compliance techniques. The officer did not knee him until the guy squared up in an aggressive posture. If anything I think this officer was VERY patient since the guy continually put his hands in his pockets and could have had a weapon there.

All things considered, at face value, I'd probably much rather be kicked in the nuts and suffer minutes of pain rather thane being pepper sprayed in the face and seemingly suffer longer.
Then again, I'm not a dumb arse and:
1) Wouldn't be driving drunk
2) Wouldn't mouth off to a cop and continually disregard commands to stay put
3) Tussle with a law enforcement officer
But that's just me..............

Seriously! He's lucky the cop didn't pull his gun on him when he put his hands in his pockets and started fidgeting around. That's a big no-no during a traffic stop

These fricking pigs. The only way this pattern of excessive force is disrupted is for the citizens to rise up and match their violence.
