Sorry to here that man. Strep throat sucks. Go get a pennacilin shot. After 24 hours of having the shot it won't be contagious anymore.

All I have to say on the subject is this.
If you are not already taking antibiotics then get on some fast. Two years ago I left strep throat untreated. I had never had it before so I didn't realize that it was more than a severe sore throat. I developed Rheumatic Fever. It is a fairly rare occurrence but aint shite to play with.
The Fever lasted around a week. The subsequent after effects lasted nearly nine months. It has the potential to make you a virtual cripple and screw up your heart valves. It can also reoccur for the rest of your life.
I was ultimately very lucky...at least I have been so far.
