ARGH!! Yes, that is a pet peeve of mine and a lot of others in my industry. Not everyone who has had a part in a movie is a "movie star" so why is it different for porn? There are only a handful of actual active porn stars. The rest are porn performers or porn actresses. Every chick that has done a frick scene runs around claiming to be a pornstar.

She was solid b grade, but she made it in the industry for about 5 years, so I think she deserves the title.

A real "star" (porn or otherwise) is someone who gets recognized in public and has the respect of others in their industry. Stars are few and far between.
You can drop 95% of the girls in porn off at the mall and not one person will recognize them. You can't do that with Jenna,Tera,Belladonna,etc.

I'd say porn star in the business and has fan base.
Just doing porn not not equal star. Buncha amateur stuff out there and most girls only do 2 or 3 shoots.
(Like the very hot Peaches who is from BR and was in breakin' 'em in. look her up!)
