Stores in mall closing early

Went to return some clothes at the mall and near half of the stores have closed earlier than the normal 9 PM close time. Lots of private security and some BRPD officers near the entrances

Why? They are boycotting it all weekend. Should be good to go.

Returning clothes to the mall is about as trashy as protesting there.

I thought they were boycotting the mall? This is prime shopping time for the people that usually avoid that place like the plague

And majority of the shoppers are black so I guess they didn't get the boycott memo. Store owners helped them out by not being open.

Wouldn't fit so return it? No-that's backwards. If it doesn't fit don't buy it to start out with.

Barnes and Noble at Perkins Rowe closed at 8pm tonight. I assumed it was out of caution should a protest pop-up there. I would guess Citiplace location closed at 8pm also.

What a shame we have to live in fear of violent protests.
