The point of a stickied thread is to grab everyone’s attention as soon as they come to the board. Anchoring them at the bottom defeats the entire purpose.

Youll know where they are if you want them. TD isn't mainly major echo chamber media 24 hour news cycle headlines it's for topic discussion.

I think I have deduced the bottom sticky is for long running threads so it keeps them on the first page and easy to find but doesn't take up room at the top. They have still stickied current events threads at the top since they started the bottom sticky.
ETA they anchored the frick outta this thread.

I'd prefer having the watch thread (yes I member that clean VC) and perhaps a comprehensive war(s) thread to encapculate the you crane and the whole celery and hummus sitiuation and maybe even the tay-won and Chyna stuff too anchored at the bottom. one war thread is enough
