I know a lot of LSP and STPSO guys, and they are generally smart and most of the guys I know have a degree.

I've had interactions with JPSO, and they all seem dumb as a brick. Same with Mandeville, Madisonville, and Covington cops. BRPD cops are half and half, but most seem to be super aggressive. I mean like a pissed off rottweiler.

I am always surprised when I see NOPD cops that have their shoes on the right feet. They are pretty much all functional retards. I know of one that isn't and can hold an intelligent conversation

Most State Troopers seem to be legit.

The police department where my office is located is kind of funny. Nothing happens around here save for an expired tag or the occasional pot stop, yet they will dispatch helicopters and swat teams.

I know most of the cops in my hometown and they're all pretty level headed, good guys. Many of them have kids the same age as my kids so we interact a good deal at school, church, and sports functions. They're cool to us and we're cool to them.

However, there are some small towns around here that I cannot say the same for.

Vestavia Hills PD are pretty decent. They're like Hoover, without the Tacticool element.

State Troopers are good guys.

My local PD is made up of professional good ol boys who know their jobs. Black officers who hate everyone but do evwrything by the boom. And uninformed power hungry idiots.

I've called out a supervisor on more than one occasion because I was stopped for no justifiable reason.

I have a love hate relationship, even though I know quite a few of them personally.

A good friend of mine is a Vestavia cop. His son is my son's age and we coached them in baseball and football before they reached middle school. Years ago he was a motor patrol cop then a couple years ago they put him on a fugitive joint task force with the US Marshals. Even though he's a cop I count him as a close and trusted friend.

Trying to raise your post count fred? I'm pretty sure you can just change it yourself if it means that much to you

My first paragraph was actually giving praise to the better departments around here. Other than that black LSP guy on the spillway that gives people tickets all day, every day, the troops around here are all legit

The majority of State Troopers I see are black, 6'6", and freaking jacked. They seem cool enough, tho.

I only know one short one, and he is from troop B in Kennuh bruh. I do know a few that lurk TD, and got called out by the SGT lady in the concealed carry office by what I posted once . The rest of the troopers are usually busy doing police work, and don't sit there and watch movies/play candy crush all day

The younger STPSO guys I know all lurk TD.

I know one BRPD cop that posts, and have walked up on others lurking. Actually have a pic saved in my phone of one lurking outside of TJ Ribs

The stereotype

The reality is that crime has been steadily decreasing to super low levels, and aside from a few problem areas around NYC, its safer than ever. The NYPD won't say that though.

Most of encounters I have had have been on subway platforms because of projects I have worked on. I found the best way to get on their good side is to avoid them.

Thibodaux PD has changed quite a bit in recent years for the better. The bad attitudes are either getting weeded out or are getting promoted to a detective type position and out of the public eye. It was bad for a while.
