I know its last minute but if any of you OT'ers know of anyone looking to fill a float let me know. Float must be kid friendly.

You probably shouldn't expose your kids to all that sin and filth

Once you get to the Overpass, all bets are off.

Kids should not be in this parade. Unless they are in a band or cheer squad. The floats are about partying.

I don't think you want your kids within a mile of our float

I rode every year growing up. It's totally family friendly until the overpass. Even then it's just loud people and loud music. Big deal.

As to OP, I dunno man you kinda have to know people. I don't think a thread on the OT will get you on a float, especially with a kid.

That's where I have always set up so I guess my knowledge about kid friendly areas is limited haha.

Constructive criticism here.

1) St Patty's day floats fill up months in advance and typically have buy in's.
2) Kid friendly probably eliminates 75% of the floats to be honest.

I wish you luck but a week before the parade the chances of finding an opening as an outsider is slim to none unless you know someone.

If you go to the parade's FB page, they were saying there were some Krewes with spots open for $200. No clue if these are kid friendly floats. I kind of doubt it though.
