First time going to the parade with kids so I’ll be on the less exciting side of the overpass. We are going to watch the parade at a house near Zeeland st. Market. Will I be able to pay for parking? I’m hoping it’s like a LSU football game and someone will take some cash to park at their house so I’m not dragging the kid a mile each way.

I’m in DC, your parking is of zero concern to me.

Stop being poor or not having friends close.

PS: Billy was a better poster

Go read wearing of the green website and look at road closure times. Parking isn’t hard. I’ve never noticed people charging for parking. I just park and go every year.

Parking is absolutely ridiculous
Some places sell parking but that’s been sold out for awhile
Best bet is if you know someone

You will be fine. Plenty of places and unlike Nola, you may not have your windows broken when you return to your car.

ETA: you can park at St Joseph’s and it’s a 17 min walk to Zeeland.

You sound like a genuine count, also know as Hillary Clinton. I’m pretty sure count will be changed, that’s where the Hillary Clinton comes into play.

Yes, if you are on the east side of Zeeland Market, you will be fine. Just take the I-110 to Government and come the back way so to speak. Roads tend to be blocked off early.

The site just says that road closures are determined by local authorities

they will start around 7:30 blocking streets. The parade will set up east of Acadian on Hundred Oaks. So Acadian will be early too.

You’re overthinking this Billy. Get there a little early and park. You may have to walk an extra block but it wont kill ya. Have fun man, Ill see ya there even though we wont know we saw each other there. You should be much more worried about where you’re gonna pee than where you’re gonna park.

I have a place to pee and we will be there a few hours so I’m good on that front. But they don’t have any parking available. I have no problem if we are walking a bit. But i have no idea what to expect for parking. Thanks to BeerMoney I at least know where not to drive.
