Laid off most if not all of the staff, terminated publishing rights for both print and digital. LINK

Guess the land whale and tranny swimsuit issue was a bust. Whoda thunk it?

Ah well....when the sanctity of the swimsuit issue was compromised it was only a matter of time.

The writing was on the wall. Those issues were done with the knowledge the brand was failing. The same people pulling the strings will continue to push the tranny-agenda. It's sick.

The U.S. should have done a better job of protecting its media from outside influence. China, has too much influence on our culture.

i used to freaking scour SI for CFB content in most of the 2000s. way better coverage and sense of humor than ESPN but Maisel, Mandel and Forde got stupid in the 2010s along with the rest of the world.

Mandel, basically advocated himself out of a job in 2020 and 2021.

complete a-hole mode on the south and rest of the world that opened up while he was still cowering in fear in CA and then said "ok, maybe i was wrong and a little harsh. we need a reset."

If Disney goes bankrupt it will take ESPN down with it.

Victoria's Secret stepped back from the ledge recently.

Go woke go broke might have some impact, but almost everything print media is dying. Even their digital presences.

Was a big part of my adolescence. Receiving it in the mailbox was an exciting day in the 70s and 80s for little Sao. Our town didn't even have cable for many of those years so reading it cover to cover was a treat.

It appears the consumer marketplace rejected this change within SI. Seems we didn’t want to “see” that big ole girl in a swimsuit.
