Sports betting... websites vs bookies

Just curious if anyone has used a site like bovada and actually cashed out. Were you able to get direct pay? Or able to cash a check? I use a bookie but he is getting shady. What do other degenerates use for their gambling problem?

cashing out is a nightmare for every website. use a bookie. mine settles via venmo every tuesday, has good website, very efficient
i say that, i had one bookie skip town when he owed me $500. sent people to his house to collect and all his shite was gone. guess he got hammered and couldnt stay afloat until everyone gave their money back
still hope i run into him some day

I settle every week with venmo too. Never missed a payment. Now I'm up last week 275 and he didn't pay. This week up 160 and he didn't answer my text.

I used Bovada and they fed exed me a check that I had to sign for. It cleared.

Not really directly relevent, but still kind of related. My brother in law's cousin had this guy who had been running an NFL survival tournament (among other things I'm assuming) the last few years whose pot ran well into 5 figures. $50 buy in iirc (it might have been $100. Can't really remember). I asked my brother in law if he was going to try to play this year, and he told me the guy had gotten arrested. I wonder the extent of the shite that he got in.
This whole sports betting world is pretty sketchy in general. It would be better if it were legal, but I guess things are kind of sketchy even in Vegas and Atlantic City.

Some websites pay out faster than others. Using bitcoins as payouts is much faster than getting a check mailed which can take weeks.
Bookies and websites are both hit and miss. Some pay and some dont but they will both take your money on a bet.
I use websites, because I get better lines. I know 2 bookies that will pay. One uses a website, and the other is phone call only which sucks. Eventually I will go back to using bookies.
To find a bookie you just have to ask around.

I cashed out on bovada at the end of the football season last year. It was easy. You just cant cash out less than $50
