Worst mosquito swarm I've ever seen or experienced tonight at a high school football game. Players were being attacked incessantly. However, the coach would not allow the players to use Off mosquito spray. Said it would prevent them from sweating and cause cramping.

Anybody ever heard of that? I think the coach is an ignoramus.

It definitely does not prevent you from sweating, and it definitely does not cause cramping. I can tell you that with 100% certainty.

Rubbing your eyes with sweaty hands covered in Off burns though

You are correct. Used to coat myself in that shite from the neck down before games.

Probably the same coach that didn't let us drink water when I played. Said we needed to toughen up and all that water would cause cramps. Come to think of it, this guy seems awful focused on cramping.

The shite that rolls out of some coaches never ceases to amaze me.

My favorites or the lactic acid is making them sore gotta get the lactic acid out after a game or not drinking enough water is making you cramp.

I've been seeing more of the genetically modified mosquitoes lately. You can tell if you see a big swarm that is made up up mostly males. They're not supposed to bite but I'm not believing that.

High school football coaches are some of the dumbest people in the country. Good people, sure, but not very bright.

If anything... the spray might make you more of a slippery mess... might make it harder to hold on to the ball.

Of course... maybe he is trying to prepare them for college... NCAA might say use of bug spray is an impermissible benefit!!

There was a coach at my HS back in the day that would pull kids out of class to work out . You'd be sitting in your algebra class and he'd walk in and say " Mr Pimp is needed in the office" and five minutes later you would be doing squats . Dumbass.
