Slapped a bat clean out the air once. I think that killed it.
If it didn't, my dog certainly finished the job right after. Just scooped it up immediately off the ground and ran off with it in his mouth

I clubbed a 40 lb wahoo on a fishing boat in Bermuda. My wife almost cried because she caught the fish and felt bad that I had to kill it.
The charter crew was a lot more ruthless than I was though.

I killed a baby bird when I was a little kid. Me and my sisters and cousins found a nest on the ground and we thought we would teach them how to fly since their momma wouldn't come back.

Anole lizard, but it was an accident. He was in the house, and I was trying to catch him with a cup because he was on a window sill I couldn't reach effectively with just my hands. He moved, and I broke his back or something. I ended up decapitating him with scissors. I was sad for quite a while after that.
