Let's say you found out your SO was cheating with a married person, would the spouse have a right to know? Would you tell him/her that your SO is cheating with his/her spouse?

I say yes. Both families have been ruined and the other spouse definitely has the right to know. If it happened in my case, I definitely would.

How else would you get revenge sex from the other spouse?

This in no way makes any sense.

Probably not. Not sure it's my place to do so but even if it is, it would make me feel too much like a bitch.

Of course I would. I know a guy who just found out his wife was cheating on him because of pictures she took on her phone to show her friends. So he called that guys house and told his wife all about it.

In this case you would definitely be in the right to do so.

But an outsider with ulterior motives has absolutely no right or reason to.

You're not 17, and he's not your "bro" if he's getting horizontal with your SO.

I'd say this is all very contingent on whether your and/or their marriage/relationship is going to completely end because of the infidelity. You have to remember that not all relationships automatically bust up because of an affair.

So in other words, your relationship might get back on track, you bust the guy on his and then the subsequent fallout might ruin your relationship.

There's no way to really plug in a set way of dealing with something like that. It's all case-by-case. It think this is where the "It's complicated" idiom comes from.

I think I would but it's definitely harder to actually do than to just talk about doing it.

So my SO is cheating and I'm supposed to go to a stranger and give her the same news too? Nope. Sounds like I've got my own shite to deal with besides getting involved in another situation just like it.

It's very simple ell. You take her out to a nice seafood dinner, tell her y'all's SO are banging each other, PIIHB, and never call her again.

I'm gonna set the world afire and sit back and watch it burn roasting marshmallows. I not only tell the other SO, I go to his close family and friends, work place, take out a billboard, go door to door to his neighbors, start a social media campaign, total war scorched earth policy. Oh and that SOB better not have kids. I will scar them for life with nightmare stories about their dad.

Or just accept life for what it is and move on.
