Spinoff from Blind Classmate: how do you deal with/discuss disabled a-holes

Used to work with a disabled guy. He was a good dude but a pretty shitty worker, real lazy (unrelated to his disability), etc. If he wouldn't have had a disability, he'd be known as a bum. Anyway, he finally got ran off and everyone felt sorry for him. I expressed my apathy about the situation to some coworkers and they got all pissy saying I should feel sorry for him because he's disabled. I said no, I don't feel sorry for him because he's a shitty worker and that we shouldn't feel sorry for people just because they're disabled. Only guy that agreed with me said he did because "I have a sister with cerebral palsy and she is a BITCH"...
So, am I wrong for separating someone's disability and their work ethic/attitude when judging them?

You deal with it in a "does this affect me negatively" question and answer session with yourself. Dialogue about the guy in a negative way simply isn't worth having. Don't participate and move on.

The guy that cuts the grass at my office has down syndrome. He's a hard working sob though and tough as nails. He somehow managed to hit himself in the hand with a string trimmer one time. He taped that shite up and went back to work. On the flip side the property manager is fat as frick and wears an insulin pump. All he talks about is how much he hates when people park in handicapped parking spaces because he has to walk a few extra feet. He's lazy and bothers the shite out of me on a weekly basis.

Gossiping about coworkers is for ladies

This post is way too edgy for me.

Wasn't gossiping, was more like "man, can you believe so and so got fired???"
Poochie puts hand out "uh, are you surprised?"

Life's a lot easier if you say oh that's crazy then go back to your desk and watch fat kids fight one another on the Youtubes

Disabled people should be considered as equals in society. It is what they prefer....except when it comes to rides at Disney World. They want the front of the line

Physically disabled I view equal to everyone else. If he's an a-hole, he's an a-hole regardless. Mentally is a little different.

I've learned hitting them in the face works

I got in a fight with a tard in 6th grade. He surprised me with his wild crazy fighting style and got in a nice lick before teachers broke us up. So I kinda lost.

I treat everyone equally, an a-hole is an a-hole. It helps that I'm technically disabled too, so if they say I'm being a jerk, I just show the where a collapsed lung occurred and 50 percent of it removed.

Retard strength is real.
I almost got into it at the bar with a blind guy once.

I am standing in line at a busy food court and a thirty something autistic man cuts in front of me then orders. I laughed a little then he got to the cash register and only had three dollars to cover his seven dollar lunch. So I bought his lunch.
I will not stand up to a disabled person because I am so thankful for my healthy, intelligent, children.
