Use to go fishing with a guy who'd polish off a 24 pack of Budweiser by early afternoon. Didn't even seem buzzed. I'm pretty sure he was doing this every day.
Worked with another guy who drank a 12 pack every night after he got off of work. He'd have them icing down in his car for the ride home.

I grew up in a little town where everyone is in contact with one another. This loser frick in my class had an old man that was highly functioning white collar small town insular drunk; with the old boy putting down a twelve pack of Busch light on the weekdays - every weekday - and a case each weekend day, his son was proud enough to advertise it at school.
