Importance of this launch
Today, SpaceX will be launching their Dragon 9 rocket in their 6th routine commercial resupply mission (CRS-6) to the International Space Station. Included in this mission will be an attempt to re-land the first stage booster rocket onto a barge/landing pad in the ocean. If successful, it will be the first reusable rocket in history.
More Launch Details

The landing target

Yesterday:
This launch was initially scheduled for yesterday afternoon, however anvil clouds (threat of lightning) encroached upon the 10 mile launch radius. This resulted in postponement of the launch to this afternoon.
