Is that a church thing? Do you have to register?

Shreveport reminds me of Montgomery. And I mean that in the most insulting way possible for Shreveport.

Oh man this is gold. Shreveport/Bossier is lacking in some ways but it has its festivals like MudBug Fest, Red River Revel, & solid events too like Barksdale Air Show & Cork, but you won’t see us attempting to put other parts of the State down for their shatty festivals.
We also get a ton of great bands that come through here that just want to play at the historic Municipal, where Elvis got his start. In ‘17 Paul McCartney, of all people played his ONLY regional
Show here in Bossier at CenturyLink center….not Dallas, Houston or cesspools like Nola or BTR. But go ahead, and brag away about open mic night & groomers on ice.

It's really messed up that one poster thinks this is a joke. It actually looks like a good time for a good cause.

Just because a town or city might have a bad rep doesn't mean everything they do is garbage. Those events are high points for those communities.

FWIW, I didn't post that as a joke, or because I think the TFF is a joke. Most of my college buddies are from Vacherie and Thibodaux, so I know how big of a deal it is.

I was laughing because it was CW that posted it, and we've been talking about the TFF in our group text lately.

I see this as more of an informational thread.

It’s not really bragging. South Louisiana has more entertainment than north Louisiana. Especially this weekend with Jazzfest, Wayne Toups, Garth, and Groomers on Ice.

For Festival?

I’d park on one of the streets off Johnson. Then walk a few blocks.

I would just take 90.

Thinking about it. If go I10 I plan to go through BR at about 10AM and midnight. Maybe not too bad.
