South BR bugs tonight

Just drove down Perkins from Bluebonnet to Highland. The amount of bugs flying near the floodlights was something I've never seen before. They looked bigger than mosquitoes.

I always see loads of huge mosquitoes after hurricanes...that may be what you are seeing.

this afternoon, we had a shite load of bugs around the neighborhood.

Never seen them before

We had St Aloysius vs St John Plaquemine today in Port Allen...bibical insects. Gnats, mosquitoes, and these gigantic ants. We won, but a horrible 2 hours out there. Geaux SAS Lions.

I’m at work and every light outside is swarming with them. The spiders are gonna die from gluttony.

As one of the coaches for those teams I upvoted but I can't say I recall the bugs.. I will say it's an awesome setting for a football game and was hot as hades out there today..

In south BR off hoo shoo too. Lots of little green bugs swarming tonight.

Had the floodlights on and the geckos were going to town.

Storms that come from the Central America/Yucatan area always blow in a shite ton of bugs.

The ones we have are neither and nonbiting, about 1/4" long
