My son is bipolar. When he was young, he had it rough and we did what we had to do to get the help he needed. AS a Dad, it was one of the hardest things I had to ever deal with along with my wife. Teen years were a night mare. Now that he is 34, he fights it, but at times we know he falls and we are there to pick up the pieces.
It really sucks for him and I wish I could trade places with him any day.

Sure is. At first, we didn't know what the hell was wrong. Of course, the quack doctor was telling my son that I was abusing him. I was like WTF? It ripped me apart along with my wife, then it was time for somebody else to see him. That was when everything came out and of course I didn't abuse him an anyway. Like I said, it was one hell of a thing to deal with that I don't wish on anybody. He was 10 years old when we started seeking help for him and had to step in many time sense then.
What I know about dealing with someone that has mental health problems and what they and there family go thru, I could write a book.
Thank God that we have a very good GP doctor on stand by when we need it. He is a good friend and he has to deal with the same thing for one of his son's. Really sucks.
