The amount of mentally ill people walking among us is higher than ever. People who used to be locked up in mental institutions are no longer. They have closed down institution after institution, and we have what we have now. Rampant mental illness unchecked, and to make it worse, you have frickwads on TV/internet/social media fanning the flames of hate in all directions because it creates a profit for them via commercials/clicks for ads.
I don't know how this will get fixed. No one wants to pay for mental health solutions, and too many are making money off of it for whipping people into a frenzy for to go away. It is sad state of affairs in this country, and the world, right now.

Our society has killed all the institutions that kept us sane and we no longer have any common values other than money/wealth/status, for those who have it.
