alright, another fantastic installment of "Bitching About The Supermarket At The OT"
Over/under for number of pages before the phrase "Louisiana Purchase" or any derivative phrases is uttered is set at 1.5

I'll wait 15 minutes or more before I'd ever use the self check out.
If I wanted to do that I'd get a job there.
Went to a home depot a few weeks back and all they had open was the self check outs with a manager sitting behind a podium. I told her "you'd better open one of those registers, or have fun putting all this back on the shelves." She ran my stuff through the self check out for me.
As we chit chatted I also told her that maybe one of the reasons she didn't have enough customers in the store to need a checker on duty was not having a checker on duty and expecting people to just help themselves in finding product, researching questions online, and then finally processing the purchase themselves. She kinda deer in headlighted me and I thanked her for the help.
