I'm such a dumbass that I don't know how to load a picture I have on my phone. Regardless, the bridge would be two lanes with a little shoulder on the side. It would be a toll bridge completely located in ascension parish that diverts from I-10 prior to cabelas heading north. It would slither through the majority undeveloped land west into South Geismer (If that's not a thing then that's what I'm naming this project). The river is very narrow at that point which reduces part of the cost. Ascension Parish takes out $300,000,000 in bonds backed by the state as a surety and tolls being charged on the road. It would take $1.50 per car and small truck or SUV and add more toll per axle. 20 years to pay the bond off and the economic development and attraction the Parish would receive would be well worth it. The bridge would maybe take 5 years to build.

There's one other solution to the puzzle of better traffic flow and movement in the southeastern portion of the state but I'm not ready to release that yet.

Try e-mailing it to yourself and then loading it from a computer to imgur.

Would love a loop with a $10 toll. It would be a glorious highway of privilege.

When you think about BR being at the center of a triangle of interstate with people going south to NO and east to Florida. It only makes sense to help divert the pass through traffic both directions.

But we've had many years and millions of dollars in studies to tell us the same thing. Yet, here we are.
