The only reason this story made the news and athletes and celebrities have been donating and community activists have been holding rallies is because it was thought that the killer was white.
If we knew from the start that the suspect is black, we never would have heard about this story, and no athlete or celebrity would have spoken out about injustice and other platitudes.
The ONLY reason this blew up is because it was an opportunity to paint blacks as victims of evil white people.
Now that the killer has been caught, and he’s black, this story will disappear with the quickness.
