Sister just got back from a school board meeting. BRMHS has changed its quota of magnet students. They have 400 seats, and 393 will go to magnet middle school students. So kids from gifted middle schools , private schools , and regular schools will only have 7 seats. I told my sis McKinley High gifted has a great program, but she wont hear it. Looks like my niece might be a ho at St Joe. Also, BRMHS will suffer. Glasgow gifted makes that school.

St. Joseph's is the best all-girls school in the state, in my opinion. Their campus is amazing and the technology and education they have there is unbeatable.
ETA: Forget all-girls schools, SJA may be the top school in the state period.

Yeah, no private schools are better.
Maybe not really educationally, but for the most part smart people send their kids there, and smart people shave smart kids.

What is so great about Baton Rouge High? Catholic High rapes BRMHS so bad, they turn Catholic.
