So OJ Simpson could be granted parole on Thursday

Hopefully they'll keep him in due to him being a double murderer, rapist, and wife beater, but he's unfortunately been the perfect prisoner. I'm thinking he gets out.
And people on the outside who did that documentary are probably shitting their pants, particularly his former manager. What if Juice has decided he doesn't mind prison all that much and now gives zero fricks? He's fricking 70 now, so he's got 15 years tops left in his life. I would be concerned if I were close at one point to OJ and have gone to the press since his incarceration.
What are yall's thoughts?

People don't live past 85?

He's too arthritic to do anything like that, remember?

That guy's body was beaten to shite in his glory days. I find it highly unlikely for just about any professional football player to make it past 85.

Honestly, never deserved to serve that much time in Nevada.
But, in the grand scheme of things he should be on death row in California.
Could Nevada release him to California and then bust his arse for even going 1 mile per hour over the speed limit?
The judge in Nevada did America justice by doing what she did. I just wish somehow he could serve the time he should foro the murders he did commit.
Sometimes, I seriously question our double jeopardy laws, where other developed countries of today do not quite have this defendant protection.

He should be out. He was oversentenced considering he didn't even have a gun

As appalling as that sounds, remember. He was convicted of something like burglary, so his release is not out of the question.
Just for fun, think for a minute how different this situation would be if Obama were still president.

If you care about the integrity of the justice system, you should hope for his release.
It's an injustice that he already served so much time for his current crime. It was obviously retribution for his "murder". But regardless of your thoughts on that (I think he was also guilty), he was given a fair trial and declared innocent. It's a dangerous precedent when we dish out retributional justice down the road because we didn't agree with a legal decision that is completely irrelevant to what you currently are prosecuting.

he could be paroled Thursday, but they will probably take some time to make their decision. I fully expect parole to be granted. Feel sorry for the people on his bad side.

??
He was acquitted in California in 95, where Clinton had 0.0% influence. He was convicted in Nevada on the Eve of Obama being elected in '08.
The biggest effect on OJ's life now was the decision of the guy who recorded the Rodney King beating video in 1991 and his release to the media of it.
Had that not happened, LA wouldn't have been as much of a racial boiling point and he most likely would have been properly convicted of the double homicide he committed in 1994.

He's a double murderer, a rapist, and a wife beater. OJ not being convicted was the biggest tragedy in judicial history. OJ fricked up the integrity of the system, so throw the book at that piece of shite.

No, he was declared "Not Guilty" but was later found liable for Ron and Nicole's death in Civil Court. He was by no means declared innocent. One of the jurors has said openly that they know OJ murdered them but they let him go for Rodney King. frick this so-called integrity when that happened.

He was guilty on 12 charges. Kidnapping with a Deadly Weapon and Armed Robbery are convictions that aren't taken too lightly, even if you didn't have insight into the persons prior notoriety.

Actually they said the process typically takes weeks for the decision to be released, but they've assured the press that they'll release them the same day for him.

He's going to be a free man soon and it's a damn shame.

He won't get out until October or so if granted parole..he will be out. And broke as shite again.

If he is, hopefully someone runs over him, and then we can throw a fricking parade on Time Square for the hero that killed OJ.

Actually he won't be. He's hasn't touched his NFL pension since the conviction. He'll have some dough.
