How is it different than a cab other than having civilian drivers? What kind of cost would we be looking at for downtown to LSU area?

UberX is 4 people Max. Not sure if BR has UberXL yet but here in Houston you can get it easily. There are 2 UberXL within 5 minutes of me now. Holds up to 6 passengers comfortably.
