That's still tough for a man's ego. Ego is the real issue here. I have had this problem recently and it's a tough thing to overcome for some people.

I don't see how a 5 or above is a problem. 5 is average. Once again, let's face it, most of y'all are average, at best.

Good point. It's hard to be truly objective about looks, anyways. As long as you're the one in bed with her at the end of the night, you might as well get over it.

I don't think any man should believe that they are less than another.
I'd honestly tell my gf that she's a 10 when we're enjoying each other because she's the only one I'm with and 10/10 happy.
Why does it have to be about comparisons? No one has done everything I ve done in my life. Why can't we all just appreciate the people that love us to the 10th degree?

I'm sure she appreciates you but she tried to rate you from an objective standpoint and your ego is getting in the way of her attempt at a genuine answer. If I ever get down about something like this, I usually just bring it to the bedroom later. Handcuffs, riding crops, blindfolds, etc. Blow her mind and you won't need to worry about your 1/10.
