city bar put a hurting on the office, took up all their dbag clientele. There was only room for one on that street.

People call him a douche but he has always been really nice to me.

Met him years ago through a mutual friend. I'm not much about the BR social scene though

Not a hurting, city bar killed the office. Sucks cause the office is a nice space.

People watching at city bar is great.

City Bar is like working at a shitty job. You hate it, but for some freakin reason, you always end up there talking about how bad you hate it.

did the bar that opened in the office's place already close too? I went a time or two and it wasn't bad, never knew that place had such a nice balcony until the office closed up shop

its more like the fat chick you convince yourself its ok to frick after many drinks. I'd always spend most of my night at roux house and somehow end up strolling through city bar around 1:45 when I was good and drunk. Staying downstairs wasn't too awful...but man upstairs...

We used to go if we ate dinner downtown. Leave dinner and go to city bar at like 9. I knew one of the bartenders and managers so we just sat at the downstairs bar and drank and watched the crowd come in. Usually we would leave around midnight but sometimes we headed upstairs.....ugh

Bilj, I really don't know what it is now. They tried to do something else not long ago and the pics of it were really nice. Just seems like an expensive space to keep alive if you're only going to be open 2-3 days a week.

We ate on that balcony and its probably the best few tables of any restaurant in the city

They were charging 15 bucks to go upstairs last weekend, I laughed and walked in the downstairs bar

It's always one guy in the group that has a girl he's trying to meet up there...so we leave wherever we're already having a good time to go overpay for drinks and rub up against the billion other people that are there. Never fails. The upstairs balcony area is the only place that I enjoy in city bar

Yea he's always been cool with me. Current and ex gf both pointed out that its funny that he was always really nice to me because im an a-hole and we run in way different social circles.

Good friend of mine worked in the football/athletic office so I met quite a few of them. For the most part, they were all pretty cool. The baseball players just screamed douchebag though
