I just signed my lease this past week, I don't move away until around mid August. I'm not the type to get stressed out and have anxiety over things but I'm kind of freaking out about the whole situation. I'm starting to think I may have made the wrong decision with transferring. I mean I know I'll make friends because I'm outgoing and I'm fun to be around but still I'm freaking the hell out. I can count on one hand how many people I know there...

Did anyone else go out of state...any pointers, advice, etc? Thanks!

You did. Can't wait to read your posts about how you're so lonely. I'm gonna sip wine to your misery.

Besides being a potential troll job (and lackluster at that) I will give the advice to someone in your situation.

You can't fully be the person you want to be (socially, academically, professionally) until you get out of your comfort zone and get a fresh start.

In your current comfort zone, people likely have you categorized and subconsciously you live in a way that lives up to those predetermined expectations, good or bad.

Look at this as an opportunity because, if approached the right way, looking back you'll find it was great for your personal development. You get a chance to dictate the type of friends you have, the ways you spend your time, because you will have no preexisting obligations to fulfill.

Good luck.

3 words of advice

Don't look back

Basically what swoopin said, when you go on your own in college everything you want to do is up to you. Enjoy it, take it in, try something new, don't sit back wondering what's going on at home.
