So Im tired of the Russians having all the fun with Car Cameras

I wanna get in on it.
Ive looked on line and there is a wide range of types and features.
Anybody have a car dash mounted camera, thats "always" on ?

I had one for like 3 days before the Louisiana sun melted the frick out of the insides.

So I am guessing the kind you got wouldn't do well in AZ. Someone on the Tech Board posted one a few months ago that was like $50 and seemed pretty legit, I am sure a search could find the info.

Probably wouldnt do well. It worked well when it worked. But for under 100 you arent gonna make it a week in the summer.

Ya, even if you crack a window the interior of your car gets to over 150 degrees in less than 15 minutes out here in the summer. It fricking sucks so badly, I hate myself for not figuring out a way to leave for 4 months a year.

I have a dash cam. Have had it for 3 years. Works great. Unfortunately I drive so rarely that I have not captured anything of interest even though I live in BR.
Not always on, but it has a parking mode that supposedly turns it on if your car gets hit while parked.
