Ya know, I have met some really cool people from Lafayette.

And then I've met a lot of guido people -- and a lot of people with a cajun accent.

Why do some people from Lafayette have that accent and others don't?

Forgive me but I wore my Ole Miss shirt (I had an LSU belt on though) just to avoid catching #### being an LSU fan...but once they found out I was from Baton Rouge it was like I had an illness, all the girls I was taking to were like oh you're from Baton Rouge? Bye. I was like damn so that's how it is here...after my cover was blown, I caught some heavy chit talk about Baton Rouge and LSU. Damn Cajuns....I always heard stories about them being like that but never experienced it first hand

Lafayette is so clickish.

I'm from Lafayette and live here, and for all the hate it catches on this board that it doesn't deserve, this is one critique that is very accurate (albeit misspelled)

I can guarantee you that no one in a bar seriously sought that guy out for wearing an Ole Miss shirt or being from Baton Rouge. And if they acted like he has a disease because he's from Baton Rouge, they probably just don't want any of that AIDS rubbing off on them.

Failing to pull in Lafayette takes a lot of work. I'm not even sure how that happens. Then again, you were too weak to wear LSU gear in a city full of LSU fans so I'd imagine it has little to do with the location and more to do with the execution.

So yeah, easy answer....don't wear college gear. Not because of haters....because you're an adult in a nightlife environment and it's not gameday.

My UF flight school buddy can pull in Tigerland after a game dressed up like a fratty 31yr old douche in UF gear (which he is), but he has game and doesn't hide his colors. So it's not any of that, or where he's from. Those are just excuses for dismissal, like "I have a boyfriend".

Bullshite! I've went back to a sorority house on campus and woke up with the chick in my Tech shirt. LSU and Baton ROuge are not why you failed to get laid.
