Small Meeting Rooms in New Orleans?

Looking for something to accommodate about 5 people for a small meeting. The least expensive, the better. I see where UNO rents rooms, but being the horrible organization that they are, all of their information is outdated, contradictory, and unclear.
I've also seen some library systems in various cities that offer rooms for reservation. Does NO's system have any of these and, if so, which branches?
ETA: Just read on some library documentation that one has to be a member of the library parish so that's probably out.

I know of a place in the Quarter, but the floor is a little sticky.

Have you tried your bank? Sometimes they will let you borrow a room depending on how long your meeting is.

Just go out to eat somewhere that has a room they can close off.
Most hotels have small to large meeting rooms.

How many people? You could rent my dining room out for 300/hour. seats 8 and can fit collapsible projector screen.

Launchpad is GREAT. Google them- excellent rates, have everything you'd ever need

Most hotels should have meeting rooms, call in whatever area you want specifically

Those hotel rooms are a little pricey for my needs. I'm trying to think outside the box a little.

Then just go to lunch somewhere

The hotels are definitely pricier than launchpad- I think they have day use rates starting at like $15 a person, no food orders required and you get access to rooms, basic tech, etc... (Coming from someone that plans meetings around the city frequently- for a small, semi casual price sensitive get together you won't beat it)

look into a local rec department. IF you only have 5 people surely there are some that can accommodate, and if you don't need anything fancy you can probably find one for a dirt cheap hourly rate.
