Live in Las Colinas, I definitely felt it

I'm down by the Horse Track and the dogs went NUTS. I was laying back on my bed watching football. Thought I was having a drunken head rush when it took me a hot second to get my balance when I stood up.

The earthquake in Virginia a couple years ago was awesome. House shook for like 4-5 seconds. A jet was flying overhead at the same time but I jumped up and said "frick me that an earthquake!"

I'm just surprised that we're the only ones that got it.

I don't think I ever would have seen a reason to use that reference. How many people talk about Las Colinas? I never even thought it was a real place.

When was the last time they had one in that area and is it common?

I Googled and apparently it is fairly common around there.

It is common since fracking started. Before that, earthquakes never happened. DFW was selected for the super collider ....years ago....because it was so seismically stable.

Lost Colonies haven't been talked about in years. Frisco, Southlake and now Prosper have usurped their hype.

You're right, nobody ever mentions the place... It no longer exists.

Ah, so aside from not being the "it" place anymore people do, indeed, speak of it.

We were watching a movie at the studio movie grill by northwest highway and the whole theatre shook for a few seconds. There were a ton of cops outside the theatre , we thought some drunk driver must've crashed into the theatre . Didn't realize it was an earthquake till we got home and checked twitter.
