re: Smacking while eating

honestly even when people aren't smacking, I can hardly stand listening to them eat. it's pretty much the worst sound in the world, and smacking amplifies it.

I worked with a guy that did this. He sounded like a dog chewing on itself just by eating. It was so annoying

People that smack should be shot.

There appears to be a consensus view that it is as awful as I think, so what could this person's deal be? Do they not realize how audible it is? Could they possibly be oblivious to the fact that it is a cardinal sin in Western table manners?

I'm just trying to understand.

Some people just eat like cavemen. I have a few friends that I dread eating dinner with because of how they eat.

i dont think they notice theyre doing it. well i hope they dont notice it

There's an Indian (dot) man I work with that chews with his mouth open. It's f'ing disgusting.

I fricking hate that shite. Also there is a condition name for this where you can't deal with the sounds of eating. Which also shows most conditions are bull shite.

Same here, what makes it worse is once I hear it I can't help but listen for it.
