bullshite. You'll have plenty to look at and there's no way you'll be scared once you deplane. Try an AFF course if you can find one. It's way more fun than tandem jumping.

Just do it. Once you're out of the plane, you're not scared anymore. Your adrenaline hits you and you also find things to look at to help with the fall. Remember if you can't breathe, just scream.

My AFF course had two days of ground school and on the second day you jumped solo WITH 2 instructors next to you. They fall with you to ensure you're able to complete the dive. But you jump, deploy your chute, and land alone.

As stated above, any fear you have vanishes when you step outside the plane and adrenaline kicks in.

I did skydivenawlins once. It was my first time jumping and I was as nervous as to be expected, but they were incredibly unprofessional and very unorganized. They scheduled me for a jump time of 2 pm I think and we didnt jump til 5 pm. One couple was told to jump at 3pm and they didn't jump that day because they were so unorganized, just told them to come back tomorrow. Good experience once we were in the air though. Also don't shell out the 75$ for the video. The video is worthless, its a gopro on the guys wrist and you get no angle and just a close up of your face getting pummeled by the wind.

We jumped static line out of Jeanerette. It's been years, so I don't even know if it's still there. It was absolutely amazing. Keep your eyes open and enjoy the view.

haha yeah I wasn't planning on getting the video

I don't think I have two days to do it but if I like the tandem as much as I think I will then I will look into it more as a hobby.

Nothing to it. All you gotta do is fall. They do the rest.

You'll wanna do it again. Enjoy.

If you want to do it right - there is a training outfit located in FT. Bragg NC - 82nd something - you will be a pro for sure.
